Description

Experienced and qualified part-time cook required in the afternoons, for our lovely 50 place children's day nursery.

You will have sole responsibility in the afternoons, of a small but functional kitchen whilst working well within the whole nursery team.

You will need to have a positive attitude with a supportive nature towards others.

You will need relevant experience in Health, Hygiene and Allergies, and take control of your own learning regarding keeping up with current legislation.

Training will be ongoing with 3 paid training days per year when the nursery is closed to children.

Our nursery is a wonderful environment to work in, where we care about the whole team. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing and cooking nutritious meals.

You will also be responsible for working towards and maintaining a 5 star rating and will assist with yearly inspections from Environment Health and Safety Officers.

If you are well organised, enjoy cooking for young children and adults, and have a good team ethos, this will be a very enjoyable position.

Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

£10.50-£12.50 per hour
