The Carers Centre Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland are looking for a
'Carer Wellbeing Worker' to join our small, friendly team.

Are you looking for a rewarding new challenge where you'll know you are really making a difference to unpaid (family) carers lives?

Do you have a good understanding about how unpaid caring affects carers mental health & wellbeing?

Do you have experience of providing care for a loved one, or know through your professional life how valuable carers are, and how difficult a role it can be?

Have you got a background in health, social care, education or the voluntary sector?


We are looking for someone who understands the wide range of issues that unpaid carers face and has experience of the following:

• 
  Working with people on a one-to-one and group basis:

Knowledge of services that can support unpaid carers:

• 
  Skills in providing advice, information support and/or training

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 18.5 per week


Salary:
Up to £24,537.00 per year
