**Based in Chelmsford - HYBRID (2 days in the office per month)
Up to £38,500 per annum DOE + on-call pay

Job Purpose
Responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of several specific Business Systems & Applications.


You may be required to work as part of an on-call support rota, managing large-scale support issues outside of core operational hours.

This will start after working for the company for 6 months and is paid in addition to annual pay. This can include someadditional work on
- and off-site during evenings and at weekends.

  • Ensure any support requirements allocated are resolved at appropriate priority in accordance with agreed service levels including management of 3rd party suppliers
  • Carry out system administration/configuration tasks as required
  • Respond to and deliver standard service requests within agreed service levels
  • Work with suppliers in delivering patches/upgrades and commission systems enhancements
  • Ensure you are aware of all relevant industry and technological developments in the marketplace and provide advice to the ITS Senior Management on how to take advantage of these to support the development of initiatives that deliver business objectives.
  • Work in compliance of policies and procedures
  • Act as Duty Officer for outofhours incidents in agreed rotas
  • Comply with Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR requirements
  • Such other duties as may reasonably be required
  • First degree or relevant professional qualification
  • ITIL certification desirable
  • Experience of managing and supporting large Business Systems
  • Providing software and systems support to end users
  • Requirements gathering, analysis and testing of systems
  • Experience of system configuration and administration
  • Knowledge of data migration and integration between systems
  • Team working and able to work on own initiative
  • Knowledge of best practice change and release management processes
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a nontechnical audience
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure on own initia
