Senior Software Engineer - Insurance (Permanent)

Location:
Remote (Horsham - ad hoc)

Salary: 70-80k + benefits


Are you an experienced or passionate Technical Lead or Senior Developer looking to broaden your horizons in a multinational general insurance company? If so, this could certainly be an opportunity worth considering.


Working with some of the biggest names in the industry, this exciting market leader in insurance has made it very clear that their rapid expansion is not over - in fact the business has committed to a significant head count increase and are looking for anexperienced Technical Lead to join their team of highly-skilled professionals to work across multiple projects in an agile environment and deliver web technology solutions to the insurance industry.


Role Requirements:


  • Experience of leading development teams on various technology aspects
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
  • Excellent coordination and collaboration skills
  • Strong knowledge of the endtoend software development lifecycle, best practices, and standards
  • Extensive knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, ReactJS, Typescript, Gatsby, Webpack, REST APIs
  • A thorough understanding of the complexities of DOM and CSS, and specifically how they interact
  • Experience of integration and use of backend web technologies such as.
Net Core, RESTful Web APIs, Webservices

  • Good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals like OOP, WebAPI and commonly used design patterns in web development
