As a Junior Product Designer at Paylink, you will be an integral part of our design team, working closely with the Lead Designer, Product Owners, Developers and Account Managers to create accessible, usable and visually appealing digital experiences.

You will have the opportunity to contribute the design of cutting-edge financial products and services that will have a direct impact on our users' life.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Research: Conduct user research and gather industry trends, user insights to inform your design decisions by using Google Analytics and HotJar.
  • Data: Contribute and maintain the collection of usercentered data by using tools such as Google Tag Manager and HotJar.
  • UI Design: Develop highfidelity user interface designs using Figma that align with our clients branding and create visually engaging intuitive experiences while ensuring that accessibility and usability is the top priority.
  • Collaborative Design: Work collaboratively with many different teams including Product Owners, Developers and Account Managers to understand requirements and ensure successful implementation of designs.
  • Design Systems: Contribute and maintain our internal design system that promotes consistency and scalability across different products and platforms.

Skills and Knowledge:


  • Design skills, demonstrating an understanding of design principles and attention to detail.
  • Experience using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD etc. (Figma will be main design tool)
  • An understanding of usercentered design principles, information architecture and usability best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with the rest of the organization.
  • A desire to maintain high quality and good practices but recognise that in some situations, a pragmatic approach is needed.
  • Basic knowledge/ understanding of frontend development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints and collaborate effectively with Developers.
  • Familiarity with design research methodologies such as conducting user interviews and creating user personas.
