Motion Graphics Editor


Location:
Newbury, England, UK (onsite 5 days a week)


ROLE MISSION


Based on site in Newbury, you'll be creating a wide range of creative multimedia projects aimed at informing and educating the UK's international audiences.

The role will involve working shoulder to shoulder in true partnership with the team to counteract misinformation and propaganda that are being spread around the world digitally.

The role will be really varied, and your creative input and recommendations will be highly valued by the team.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE
You will specialize in animation and film techniques; Create bespoke graphics, illustrations and animations and bringing them to life


Skills and capabilities include:

  • Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style; can solve challenges through visual design
  • Has excellent skills with Adobe After Effects and Illustrator; Strong working knowledge of software tools, across Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Premiere etc.
  • A strong understanding of design, typography, colour and composition
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years vocational experience in computer animation, multimedia studies, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Good drawing skills and creativity.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • A passion for design and conception.
  • Excellent motion design skill set
  • Proficient in the use of After Effects and associated motion software
  • Excellent Adobe CS skills with great knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator with the ability to produce bespoke digitally drawn assets from scratch.
  • You'll have a deep affinity with layout, typography and ideageneration.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion.
  • Consistent record of taking on, interpreting and delivering design projects within agreed deadlines.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work under own initiative.
  • Excellent experience working closely with clients during kickoff.
  • Confident in bringing your own innovative ideas and creativity to projects
  • Strong client liaison, with a proven track record of developing strong client relationships.
