Description
The Assistant Chef has a duty of care for all children and should work as part of a team to ensure that the safety and welfare of children is ensured through adhering to Busy Bees' policies and procedures.
Assistant Chefs are responsible for assisting the Head Chef with food preparation, cooking and serving of food to children at various times throughout the day ensuring the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness are adhered to.
They are also responsible for the assisting with the ordering of food supplies in order to meet the menu requirements in line with budgetary constraints.
Assistant Chefs will be expected to undertake the Chef's duties with additional support during the Chef's absence due to holidays and sicknessJob Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Salary:
£7.65-£10.72 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Experience:
- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
