Game Developer Front End Developer

Offices based in central Bristol (Remote or Hybrid))

Up to £45k + bens

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a
Front End/Games Developer to join the team working at an
international award winning company with a user base of that goes into the millions - They are looking not just for a
games developer, but an experienced (or aspiring) front-end technician, familiar with building modern
web apps, working with
remote API's and deploying games commercially.

You will be part of a team that are involved in producing highly animated, graphically rich games that make a positive and measurable difference in their field.

Working with their highly talented in-house art and animation (Adobe suite + Spine animation)department, back-end platform + reporting (.NET and Angular) team, and customer support teams making sure that they continually update, improve and evolve their offerings.

Key skills should include:

Commercial experience in web or games development. HTML / CSS / JSON / Typescript / JavaScript es6+ / Remote API's / Configuring build workflows.
Experience creating games in a popular graphics rendering engine like
Experience with Animation / Tweening / Particle libraries to create visual effects.
Comfortable with asset wrangling of artwork, animation, and sound files in Adobe suite / Texture packer / command line build tools.
A good general understanding of computing and graphics hardware architecture, performing well in the browser, deploying web content for mobile + tablets, testing and debugging on mobile devices.
Proficient with source control, package management and merging code effectively in a team (Git)
Angular experience in lineofbusiness apps would be desirable
