We are advertising this
National Electrical Installation Manager role on behalf of our client 'CBES.

City were established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world's largest privately held, integrated FM companies.


Key Accountabilities:

Oversee the provision of Electrical reactive, PPMs, small works, repairs, maintenance and installation

throughout a defined region within agreed timescales and budgets whilst complying with company

policy and procedure. Managing a team of dedicated engineers.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Oversee small works installations and repairs
  • Conduct surveys and submit quotations
  • Plan and supervise PPM, proactive and reactive works in compliance with contract KPI's
  • Identification and resolution of repair, maintenance and installation issues that may affect project delivery
  • Liaison with the Project Manager at all times striving to ensure that project works are delivered on time, snag free and to the agreed specification.
  • Undertake monitoring of subcontractors to ensure relevant standards are maintained
  • Ensure all necessary records are maintained accurately
  • The management, development and motivation of their team of direct reports including the assessment and monitoring of job performance and where necessary, facilitating the company disciplinary and/or grievance procedure in conjunction with the Human Resourcesdepartment

Qualifications & Experience:


  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical Installation (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection)


  • BS7671:201

  • Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
  • Experience managing an electrical team.
  • CITB SSSTS (or equivalent)
  • Proven track record of supervising a team within an electrical maintenance environment.
  • Previous experience of managing/prioritising a varied/demanding workload.
  • Minimum 3 years' previous experience of operating within a largescale distribution site
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Knowledge of CAFM software and experience of Verisae.
