Outwood Academy Hindley is an 11-16 academy, based in the friendly town of Wigan in Greater Manchester, with a curriculum designed to stretch and enrich our students' experience.

Outwood Academy Hindley are seeking to appoint a full-time Site Assistant who will assist the Site Supervisor with the care of the Academy premises and to carry out a range of general maintenance and health and safety duties within the buildings and the grounds.

The person appointed will have an excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, a good understanding of safeguarding, be able to undertake maintenance tasks, and be responsible for the security of the site.

Working under an experienced site manager, a full package of induction and training will be provided.
