Optime Group are proud to be recruiting Patient Care Transport Drivers in Enfield. This rewarding role offers full training, excellent pay, and an immediate start.

To be considered for this position you must hold a category B car driving licence and be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.

Previous experience in a care profession would be advantageous.

MUST BE DOUBLE VACCINATED

What's on offer:


  • Shift pattern: 5 days a week Thursdays and Sundays OFF
  • Working hours: 09:0011:00 TO 19:0021:00 OR 15:00 16:00 TO 01:0002:00
  • Hours per week: 40 hours
  • Rate of pay: £11.25 / per hour
  • Holiday pay 28 days per year
  • Weekly pay (every Friday)
  • Night shifts are also available (8pm6am)

Your main responsibilities will include:


  • Transporting nonemergency patients via an NHS Ambulance to and from hospital appointments or hospital hospital transfers.
  • Helping patients with mobility, including some heavy lifting (from 77KG)
  • Providing a quality and dignified service to all patients
  • Ensuring your vehicle and equipment is constantly maintained
  • Completing documentation as required

  • Supporting the NHS, you will be provided with a paramedic uniform.
  • Outgoing personality with ability to communicate calmly with patients
