Work from Home + 1 day per week in their office East Cornwall
Our client who is an established Cornish organisation is looking for an Accounts Technician to work to assist with, month end, pre-payments & accruals whilst keeping a keen eye on purchase ledger and accounts receivable.
The position will include:
- Responsibility for overview of the general ledger
- The role also plays a key part in the liaison between group head office finance and the other companies in the group to help ensure core processes operate smoothly, including accruals, prepayments, recharges, and monthly review of cost centre spend.
- Run financial reports from the general ledger to update spreadsheets
- Be a key point of contact regarding queries from AP/AR in relation to invoice and payment queries.
- Reconcile and monitor accounts, investigate errors and process accounting adjustment journals.
- Assist with the development and running of weekly performance/management reports.
- Support the monthend process, including the provision of cost accruals
- Be AAT Level 3 or more qualified or have 2 years accounting experience
- Flexible, with a cando attitude
- Have a keen eye for detail and work well in a team
- Have accrual and prepayments experience
