My client is a leading Asset Management business looking to hire an experienced Programme PMO to implement governance and PMO best practices to enable the successful delivery of a large Technology Transformation programme.


This role requires a seasoned PMO with prior experience in large scale technology transformation in Financial Services, experience within Asset Management would be ideal.


Responsibilities:


  • Have a clear view of all work items, both inflight and pending, to ensure transparency is provided to the Programme Manager, specifically maintaining the schedule and lead all key paper review sessions with senior programme stakeholders.
  • Support communications activity to coordinate communications schedule and support collation of content.
  • Participate in the quarterly review and update of the Initiative on a Page definitions, post Planning Increment event.
  • Prepare, collate and distribute the agendas, content, and subsequent actions for the programme governance forums
  • Work with key programme stakeholders to gain input for papers and ensure it is received on time
  • Schedule and lead all key paper review sessions with senior programme stakeholders
  • Support communications activity to coordinate communications schedule and support collation of content
  • Drive process improvement in governance, reviewing and revising processes and structures to adapt to the needs of the PMO
  • Work with other teams across Technology and the wider community to support broader governance needs and ensure consistency of PMO delivery
  • Maintain a central repository of project artefacts / templates via Confluence.

Key Skills/Profile:


  • Banking and Financials Services experience is essential, preferably Investment/Asset Management experience.
  • Significant experience as a PMO professional supporting large scale Technology Programmes is essential,
  • Must have strong prior experiencein governance positions and supporting stakeholder or senior management committees in their efficient operation.
  • Project management using Agile methodology, ideally SAFe
  • Management of senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong experience of Microsoft packages (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
  • Familiar with Jira and associated workflows.
  • Experience Managing a central repository of project artefacts / templates via Confluence.
  • Outstanding prioritisation skills enabling efficient workload balance.
  • Demonstrate how they have added value in their career todate without constant direction.
