The Role:

Day to day, your key focus will be to carry out day to day maintenance tasks, site repairs and complete daily, weekly, and monthly PPM routines to achieve longevity of equipment.

As part of the maintenance dept, you will also be expected to contribute ideason developing the plant machinery and be part of the core implementation team of new plant and equipment.

The maintenance engineer will support the operations team on ensuring the highest possible quality standards through well maintained equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Completion of production line breakdowns in a timely manner
Assist in the implementation of an effective PPM system
Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) routines.
Ordering and control of replacement parts and critical spares.
Ensuring of compliance to company H&S polices / procedures
Have a direct involvement in new machine investments, working with contractors / suppliers on relevant projects
Use shopfloor data to improve line uptime

Qualifications & Experience Required:

At minimum of 5 years within an industrial manufacturing environment
Apprentice trained in Engineering (electrical or mechanical)
Educated to HNC standard desirable
Must be able to multitask breakdowns and all other associated designated works with limited resource maintaining composure under pressures and frustrations inherent in a fastmoving output focused environment.
