About the role:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To supervise the children during staff breaks, to ensure the safety of the children
- To assist the member of staff on duty at break time during outdoor or indoor play,
- To ensure sufficient playground equipment is laid out at break times and cleared
social skills, to teach children playground games
- To read the staff meeting minutes posted on the staff room notice board once a
- To meet with the Head of Pastoral care once a week to discuss the needs of the
- To deal with incidents in line with the Positive Behaviour and Anti-Bullying Policies
- To communicate serious incidents to the Lead Playground Supervisor, the
- To ensure children play in the designated areas
- To ensure children are dressed appropriately for the weather and wear trainers for
- To provide basic first aid treatment where appropriate and to manage the
- To ring the bell outside the staffroom 5 minutes before the end of break and at the
staff arrive

About you:
We are looking to appoint an energetic and caring individual to join our friendly team of playground supervisors. You will help to safely supervise the children at break times and encourage engaging and fun activities. In addition, there is a requirement to assist with meal times across the school.
