The key aspects of the role include:

  • Day shifts (full time or part time)
  • the shift times will vary depending on the service's needs.
  • Pay rate of £11.95 per hour.
  • Working as a recovery worker within various supported housing projects across London (female adult client group). The client group will have complex needs and/or in recovery from various mental health issues, substance use etc. This role may include medication administration as required.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the services, including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable.
  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Attending various management and multiagency meetings as required
  • Leading on any emergencies that may arise including liaising with emergency services as appropriate.
  • Conducting various risk assessments and health and safety checks.
  • Maintaining and recording all incidents or important occurrences and conduct effective handovers to the day staff.
  • An
    Enhanced DBS Certificate (Adult & Child) less than 3 years old (Essential)
  • Experience working within the supported housing sector, preferably with a client group who have mental health issues and complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and administration skills
  • An ability to create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and customers
  • A clear and robust understanding of professional boundaries
  • A solid work ethic and ability to always remain vigilant
  • A high level of personal integrity
  • The right to work within the United Kingdom

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract


Salary:
£11.95 per hour

  • 8 hour shift

  • Weekend availability
