JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Roof Layer, you must have the following:

• Must have a CSCS Card
• Minimal one year of Construction Site experience
• Strong knowledge of different roofing materials and techniques
• Ability to accurately measure and cut roofing materials
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in roofing
• Excellent problemsolving skills to identify and resolve roofing issues
• Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and at heights
• Attention to detail to ensure roofs are properly installed and sealed
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
• Experience working in a demanding environment
• Flexible, able to multitask and work under pressure
• Excellent organisational skills

The position is of, an on-going permanent nature consisting of a 40 hour per week, Monday - Friday (Core hours - 08:00 to 17:00).

Over the duration of this employment, you will be expected to:

• Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action
• Install, repair, or replace roofs using various materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal
• Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas
• Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
• Ensure roofs are properly sealed and waterproofed
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working at heights
