About You
You will be a highly effective data driven specialist, with the ability to deliver accurate data processing, with a range of analytical tools to support the reporting of assessment and examination progress within each school.
Job Purpose
- To provide a comprehensive administrative and organised support service across the H3 Federation.
- To support the Director of Operations in the administration and upkeep of the school management information system (Arbor).
- To deliver a range of data systems and services across the H3 Federation, with the support of the Director of Operations.
- Ensure data integrity and to ensure GDPR compliance is maintained at all times.
- To ensure the disposal of records and confidential documents in line with the School Retention Policy.
- To cover the the Main Receptions and Student Services as required
Main Key Role
- To keep up to date with all latest developments in regard to schools' data, including school performance data, census and other statutory data reporting processes.
- To support the development of internal data systems, to enable effective monitoring and analysis of pupil performance and progress.
- To manage the student target setting processes and administrate the data collection process in accordance with the H3federation current policies.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of systems for generating reports to parents, and for monitoring and student tracking systems.
- Development and production of reports to external stakeholders relating to student data.
- Provide support and guidance as necessary to ensure effective use of school reporting capabilities.
- Provide input and guidance in respect of the schools use of the Management information system (Arbor) and data, leading managing and supporting the development of new systems as considered appropriate
- Ensure student data is accurate and entered in a timely manner.
- Work with departments to create and develop their approach to data collection and analysis, and ensure timely data entry for reports
- Manage the timely transfer of relevant data to other software systems as requested
- Aid in the download and analysis of examination results.
- To support all stakeholders in providing accurate data in a meaningful way.
- Coordinate and complete the schools census and other statistical government/LA returns

- The post holder will be expected to use initiative, including making suggestions for improvements and exercise judgement in determining priorities for themselves.
- The post holder will be expected to have flexibility to adapt to changing school priorities.
- The post holder will be prepared to develop new skills and working methods in order to effectively respond to changing school needs.
- The post holder is required to make recommendations to the Director of Operations to ensure the smooth running of the school administration functions specifically in relation to automating activities to remove manual processing.
Other Duties
- To be First Aid trained to support the management of students presenting as unwell.
- To keep a record of students presenting as unwell.
- To undertake other duties consistent with the scope of the post and within the competence of the post holder as required, in accordance with the school's aims and objectives.

- Act as an ambassador for the school creating a positive and professional image to current and potential students, parents and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Training
- At least 5 GCSE or Level 2 passes which must include Maths and English Language or hold equivalent qualifications.
- Educated to a minimum of A level or equivalent level 3 qualifications.
- First Aid Training.
Experience
- Previous experience in data analysis and data handling.
- Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines on multiple projects.
