We are looking for a
Product Specialist to join our team based in BYD UK Office, Hounslow, London area and collaborate directly with BYD HQ.

It is a very exciting time to join our expanding product management team function.

The position will play an important role in supporting the growth of our recently launched passenger car in the UK market.


Main Tasks and responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the positioning and launch of relevant BYD models;
  • Ensure availability and accuracy of all appropriate product data sources (including technical data) and price lists to Retailers, including both internal and customerfacing materials and sources;
  • Provides adhoc reporting and analysis as requested by line manager;
  • Support the test drive of marketing activities;
  • Manage product demands from various stakeholders, including user groups, dealers, and local authorities or associations. To achieve this, you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including R&D, sales, business planning, and marketing, to convert the demands into product implementations that align with our product strategy;
  • Support other local activities, such as validation tests and product training, at the early stage of (pre), launches of new passenger car models in Europe. By doing so, you will help ensure that our products meet all relevant regulatory frameworks and business requirements.

Requirements/Qualifications:


  • High level of attention to detail, analytical approach with process orientation;
  • Ability to work on own initiative, demonstrating "ownership" while being a team player;
  • Strong organization skills with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience;
  • Excellent communication, written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Strategic thinking: Approach project thinking strategically while ensuring the operational details are on point;
  • Numerical and analytical with demonstrable attention to detail;
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular)
  • Full UK Driving license;
  • Proven ability to influence crossfunctional teams without formal authority;
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 24 months


Salary:
£45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
