Your tasks:
- Contribute to technical support, warranty support and technical training that ZFSUK offers to our IAM customers and workshop partners. Supervise the UK Passenger Car technical team ensuring that internal and external customers receive best in class service
- Deliver training courses as required and ensure resources are available from within ZFSUK, or our global training team, to meet the programme demands. Undertake internal and external customer training as required to meet customers' expectations, including offsite High Voltage training
- Achieve Technical Training accreditation for courses offered including continued administration for existing accredited courses. This will ensure a standard is set and maintained and will add additional credibility and value to our training programmes (IMI)
- Ensure that technical hotline, tickets and field engineering support across all ZF IAM products is industry leading and that service level agreements set by the company are achieved
- Coordination of Technical Support UK and Warranty Technician UK for business line Passenger Car, including Train the trainer and support for the continued development of existing and new Technical Support personnel
Your profile:
- Thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical principles and concepts working at Master Technician level including high Voltage systems, with a Motor Vehicle Engineer Engineering qualification, Level 1 to 3 City & Guilds. Educated to HND or Degree (BSc) level in a relevant field would be a plus
- Experience of vehicle High Voltage / Hybrid systems
Desirable:
trained to IMI level 4 or ZF HVE level and demonstrated experience of repair and diagnosis of HVE systems
- Persuasive communicator with experience of operating at all levels. Resourceful problem solver
- Experience of delivering technical training
