About the team

You will join Finance Team of four, based in London. You will directly support Head of Finance & CFO with a variety of accounting related tasks.

Solidatus has presence in the UK, US, Singapore and India and the Finance Team in London is responsible for allthese regions.

What you'll be doing

  • Overall responsibility for the daytoday finance operations
  • Accounts Payable processing and payment of supplier invoices, staff expenses, undertaking reconciliations and associated tasks
  • Accounts Receivable invoice preparation and posting, monitoring of bank accounts for receipts, preparation of management information related to outstanding invoices, dealing with customer queries, chasing outstanding monies, improvement of debt collectionprocess
  • Cashflow management monitoring of daily cash flow, management of cash deposits, forecasting and banking relationship
  • Support to Head of Finance in monthend close
  • Full ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assistance in preparation of Board Pack
  • Assistance in yearend audits
  • Preparation of various adhoc analysis
  • Business Partnering to in house teams
  • Evaluation and improvement of existing controls and processes to ensure 'best practice'
  • Consistently look at new software and systems to automate manual daytoday accounting tasks
What you'll need

  • Part qualified/fully qualified/ qualified by experience accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Relevant experience in a Tech Start-Up or Scale-Up (SaaS Preferred)
  • Xero experience
  • Tech savvy, good with multiple systems including Excel (V & H Look Up /"What if" analysis /Pivot Table experience) and can pick up new systems easily
  • Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business globally
  • Strong level of attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good at prioritization
  • Organised
  • Previous credit control experience would be a bonus
  • Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Must be flexible and able to multitask
  • Fast learner
  • Bright
