Position and What to Expect:
The Enterprise Risk Specialist works on a highly varied range of activities, closely supporting several colleagues within the different disciplines of the Risk Centre of Excellence and the wider Risk Department


This includes:

  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Risk Department's operational processes and linked documentation, by maintaining the inventory of the key Risk Department processes, helping on resolving prioritized pain points and related communication, and updating documentation.
  • Support the risk and control periodic reporting to senior management and Board, including requesting, challenging, and consolidating input from different teams, pulling data from the system and creating reports for further analysis, etc.
  • Support the creation, and possibly also the delivery, of risk and control management trainings within and outside the Risk Department.
  • Support the Risk Department's workload analysis, including reviewing the demand versus team capacity, workload distribution across the different subteams, etc.
  • Support the risk and control tool functional administration, including responding to questions from end users on how to use the tool and its reports.
  • Periodically check compliance with internal procedures for Risk Assessments and Risk and Control Self-Assessments.
What will make you successful?

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, of which at least 3 years spent in an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) role
  • Degree in business, finance or equivalent
  • Past practical involvement in process improvement projects
  • Basic knowledge of ERM policies and risk frameworks
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Driven by taking on a wide range of different activities and interacting with diverse stakeholders
  • Openminded, solutionsoriented, and a true team player
  • Able to adapt flexibly to change and manage priorities across several different stakeholders
  • Customeroriented and striving to deliver the right quality and added value to the company
  • Prior experience on GRC tool implementation support is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • A sound interest in the Financial Services industry
