SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT - SECONDARY

PLYMOUTH

£75 - £85 per day dependant on experience
**Hours

8.30am to 3.30pm**

Do you have the patience, empathy, and caring nature to work with children who have a variety of SEN, Disabilities, behavioural and emotional needs? Some may have mild to significant violence, mental health problems.

Complex needs, ASD, ADHD.

As you cansee from the list, these pupils suffer from a variety of problems which they live with on a day-to-day basis.

Do you have the enthusiasm and passion to work in this tough environment where you can give understanding and nurture these young minds into learning to trust you so they can transition back into the outside world? You need to be resilient with a love ofworking with children.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to children aged 11 years to 16 years.

You would work alongside the Class Teacher to aid the learning of the pupils, whether it's in a small group or 121.
**A clear use of the English Language in oral and written is imperative. Also an enhanced DBS which can be applied for at registration.
