Aspire people are currently working with a school in Wolverhampton who are seeking a Teaching assistant to work within EYFS.

The role is working within an EYFS class setting supporting children to access the curriculum, managing their behaviour, emotions and developing social skills.

The school has average EAL and SEND needs for the geographic area and like to provide additional support for students with additional needs.

As a full time, teaching assistant, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected.


  • Support children within an EYFS setting
  • Support the class teacher with daily activities
  • Interventions
  • Some 1:1 support may be occasionally required
  • Assess achievements of the pupil
  • Ensure the child has access to the curriculum
  • Liaise with parents
