We're searching for an enthusiastic, organised and driven People & Office Specialist, who will be a key member of Freetrade's People Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented People person to really hone in all areas of the employee lifecycle, and truly have an impact in a revered, growing Fintech business.

You will:

  • Take ownership of all administrative People tasks at Freetrade, including the preonboarding experience, the employee journey and offboarding, as well as any other job changes that may arise including relocations and internal mobility.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of all our People processes, supporting with process improvements as we continue to develop as a company.
  • Help us to maintain all our confidential People data, be that through our HRIS (Bamboo), employee files or company intranet
  • Own the referencing process for new employees, helping Freetrade to provide a first class experience to our new joiners and ensuring we remain compliant at all points of the onboarding process
  • Be the first port of call for new starters, supporting through preonboarding and coordinating an effective induction experience
  • Manage the upkeep of the office; liaise with the landlord/building management, manage meeting rooms, catering and general upkeep
  • Support on any ER cases that may arise

About you:

  • Degree educated with 13 years of experience working in HR / People / People Operations, ideally in a Generalist or Administrative capacity
  • You have a solid understanding of the employee lifecycle and want to provide a first class employee experience
  • You are able to balance empathy with commerciality and pragmatism
  • You are comfortable picking up and using different systems (we use Bamboo, G-Suite, Slack, Notion, among others)
  • You are a considered verbal and written communicator, able to work with team members of all grades and specialities
  • You are organised and thorough, able to prioritise your own workload effectively
  • You are proactive and driven, able to take initiative in order to solve problems
  • It's a bonus if you have experience working in a financially regulated environment
