We are looking for a Learning Disabilities Nurse to work full time in a service for adults with a learning disability and additional behaviours in a town near Kent.


As the RNLD you will oversee teaching people to look after themselves, keep themselves mentally and physical happy and helping them with daily activities.

You ill work with other key workers and health care coordinators to develop social stories, physicaland mental health support plans and plan activities, social events, and holidays with service user.

Your main responsibility will be to you provide support and care for the people living within the service to help maintain their health and wellbeing and tolive their lives as fully as possible.

The post holder will be located in Sittingbourne with additional locations in relation to referred client assessment work

This is a full time role working hour a week.

  • Time management skills that enable prioritizing, organization, delegation, strategic planning and problem solving.

Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC):

  • Experience supporting people with a learning disability who have additional neurological and behaviour needs.
  • Good communication and working relationships with all staff
