Description

As an Outreach and Delivery Partner for the Get Me Work Ready project, your role will be crucial in supporting the smooth delivery of the young employability and mental health support program.

You will be responsible for identifying and recruiting 30 participants aged between 16 and 25, promoting the project, coordinating venue logistics, assisting participants with completing questionnaires, and providing feedback to enhance the project's development.

Your active involvement will contribute to creating a positive and engaging experience for the participants.


Key Responsibilities:

Participant Recruitment:

Identify and recruit 30 participants for the Get Me Work Ready project, ensuring a balanced representation of 15 girls and 15 boys for two separate cohorts.


Needs Assessment:
Assist participants in signing up and completing a needs assessment questionnaire, including inquiries about barriers to employment.

Individual Delivery Plan:
Support participants in completing project questionnaires to develop individual delivery plans tailored to their needs.

Retention and Promotion:
Maintain participant engagement and motivation throughout the program, promoting positivity about the project and its benefits.

Venue Coordination:

Collaborate with the project team to identify and secure an appropriate venue for the sessions, ensuring it has the necessary facilities, such as a room with a flip chart.


Start Date Confirmation:

Work closely with the project team to confirm the start date of the sessions, taking into account logístical requirements and participant availability.


Feedback Provision:
Provide valuable feedback based on your observations and interactions with participants to help improve and refine the project.

Marketing and Distribution:

Assist in distributing key messages and project products across your network and communities, contributing to the marketing and advertising efforts.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with young individuals aged 162
  • Experience in community outreach, recruitment, or youth engagement activities is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of youth employability and mental health issues.
  • Ability to build rapport and inspire confidence in participants.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to coordinate recruitment and venue logistics effectively.
  • Familiarity with administering and analysing questionnaires or assessments.
  • Proficiency in using technology for communication and data collection.
