My client is a specialist interiors contractor whose main services are drylining, ceilings, partitions, & decorating.

They have been trading for over 10 years and in such a short time have gained a great reputation within the sector.

Projects range from £500k to £8m in value and span across the commercial, residential, education, hotel, & leisure sectors.


The Role - Buyer


Our client is seeking an Experienced Buyer with ideally with a background in drylining to join their fast-paced purchasing department.


Working amongst a team of buyers in the Purchasing Department you will be responsible for ensuring that the materials required for construction projects are provided to schedule and according to projected budgets.


Key responsibilities:

  • Placing purchase orders
  • Contacting existing suppliers to obtain quotations and understand leadtimes
  • Identifying potential suppliers and new products

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a buyer/procurement manager is essential.
  • Previous experience in the drylining sector is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Have a good attitude with the drive to progress.

They are offering a salary of up to £40k plus package along with a great benefits package which will depend on previous experience and qualifications.
