Description

This role is accountable for the receipt of all CPU inventory stock and equipment and following specific SOP's in relation to the role and WMS system.

They are accountable for ensuring that all inventory is checked and receipted into the system reporting inaccuracies in process, damage and stock allocation to the WMS system.

Working with key colleagues this role will support a number of functions - including planning, fulfilment and safety working with key stakeholders based in head office.


Key Responsibilities will include -

  • Vehicle unload checking quantities and reporting shortages, checking accuracy.
  • Ensuing transport plans and internal safety plans are adhered to with segregation of MHE and people.
  • Booking product into the WMS system and accurate allocation to internal racking.
  • Working with Inventory controllers to support the fulfilment operation
  • Booking in inbound inventory deliveries and managing external suppliers
  • Following HMRC and CAA process around key activity i.e damaged stock, receipt of bonded product
  • Managing the daytoday goods in function
  • Operating specific MHE equipment, FLT, Reach Truck, LLOP and EPT
  • Delivering internal stock control specific KPI's
  • Recycling of key inbound associated waste including plastic pallets etc
  • Ensuring housekeeping standards are kept to high standards in allocated area
  • Completing statutory checks for key equipment
  • Auditing stock quantities to ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Experience of goods in, in a logistics
  • Effective with a 'can do' mentality
  • Numerate with an aptitude for detail
  • Effective operational delivery skills
  • Use of Warehouse Management Systems and MHE equipment
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
  • Effective communicator at all levels.
  • Experience of training colleagues within the operation

Salary:
£26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
