Cherry Professional are delighted to working with a client based in Derby that are seeking to appoint a
Payroll Administrator on a temporary to permanent contract.

This role will report into the
Payroll Manager with fantastic opportunities to increase your knowledge and skills.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Process and manage payroll for a diverse team of employees, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of salaries, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring they are uptodate and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Calculate and process statutory deductions, taxes, and contributions accurately.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve any discrepancies and provide payrollrelated information.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and analyses of
    payrollrelated data as needed.
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and compliance to ensure accurate processing.
  • Assist with payroll audits and respond to inquiries from employees regarding their compensation.

Skills:


  • Previous experience in
    payroll administration or related financial role.
  • Strong proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
  • Solid understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with different departments and employees.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage deadlines and multiple tasks.

Benefits:


  • Initial 3 month temporary contract moving to a permanent role
- £22,000 per annum salary
