Cherry Professional are delighted to working with a client based in Derby that are seeking to appoint a
Payroll Administrator on a temporary to permanent contract.

This role will report into the
Payroll Manager with fantastic opportunities to increase your knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage payroll for a diverse team of employees, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of salaries, bonuses, and benefits.
Maintain employee records, ensuring they are uptodate and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Calculate and process statutory deductions, taxes, and contributions accurately.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve any discrepancies and provide payrollrelated information.
Prepare reports, summaries, and analyses of
payrollrelated data as needed.
Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and compliance to ensure accurate processing.
Assist with payroll audits and respond to inquiries from employees regarding their compensation.

Skills:

Previous experience in
payroll administration or related financial role.
Strong proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
Solid understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills to liaise with different departments and employees.
Strong organisational skills to manage deadlines and multiple tasks.
