Description

**Young female in Newbiggin area requires an enabler to support with 9hrs per week. Hours to be arranged flexibly across the week.

Experience preferred but not essential.

Hours of work: 9hrs per week

Rates of Pay:
£10.82 per hour

Main Duties:

We are looking for an enabler who is proactive, encouraging and able to support the client to become more independent.
We are hoping the right person will be able to help client to plan meals for the week, visit the supermarket to purchase items and then help with cooking the meals (using an airfryer or microwave with the hope of going on to be confident with a cooker) This is around making client more independent but also making healthier choices.
Client has been able in the past to walk and get buses to places but after relocating the area is not familiar, so support required around directing client to certain bus routes for relevant places eg supermarket etc.
Client is interested in dancing and music so someone with similar interests would be ideal. It is hoped that the worker will be able to introduce client to interests in this new area for her but also introduce her to new things.
