The Cedars is an established care home in Methley, south Leeds near to Castleford, caring for 44 older people with dementia.


We are looking for a Night Care Assistant to work 9pm - 7am 30 hours (3 nights) per week including alternate weekends.


Duties include:

  • Supporting residents with person centred care needs, including physical and emotional needs, promoting independence and choice.
Working alongside District Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and other professionals who are involved in their care.

Ensure clear and accurate records are maintained and effectively managed.


Experience working in a care setting with NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate would be an advantage.

However, we are willing to provide training for anyone who is new to care.

Applicants need to be able to work as part of a team, self motivated, flexible and dedicated.

Full inductions and ongoing training will be given.


30p per hour bonus is a payable ADDITIONAL to the hourly rate of pay, plus weekend enhancement pay.
Any
overtime is paid at an
extra £4.00 per hour on on top of the normal hourly rate.

£9.60-£9.90 per hour
