Description

Working with the most senior members of the University, the Head of Research Ethics, Integrity and Governance will draw on their professional expertise and expert knowledge to lead their team to continue to embed the culture of research integrity across the University and set the strategic direction.


They will act as the university's Sponsorship representative, ensure processes and systems meet external research governance regulatory and legislative requirements, oversee and engage in investigation of research misconduct, provide advice to investigators and committees, and ensure that robust monitoring and reporting is in place.


We are looking to appoint an individual with an excellent track record in this field, experience of working within in a University environment, leadership and management skills, and able to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues across the University and beyond.


As a member of the Division's leadership team, this individual is expected to contribute to the wider work of the Division division, working closely with the heads of each area.
