Maternity contract - FTC - 9 months the advertised salary will need to be pro-rated.

Day to day accounting, monthly and quarterly close preparation and analysis


The EMEA Accountant is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient keeping of the company's general ledgers for UK and other EMEA entities, to enable production of accurate and timely corporate reporting under US and local GAAP, and to assist in theproduction of monthly management accounts and statutory returns as required.


The EMEA Accountant will assist the GL Manager to produce high quality financial information in a timely manner, and to support the EMEA accounting team.

You will also review and make adjustments when necessary to the respective balance sheet and P&L accounts.

Preparation of the monthly accounts

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting under US and local GAAP
  • Prepare monthly recurring and ad hoc journals.
  • Calculate monthly accruals/prepayments.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations month end review and reporting
  • Maintain fixed asset module with additions, depreciation, etc.
  • Prepare quarterly analytical review commentary and US GAAP reporting files.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow report.
  • Prepare quarterly analytical reviews.
  • Prepare quarterly US GAAP reporting (10Q/10K)
  • Support the year end reporting process in local jurisdictions across EMEA.
  • Support the year end statutory audit processes
  • Support the tax team in preparing analysis.
Support banking & treasury functions as required

  • Other adhoc duties and projects as required.
