Senior Practitioner - Child Protection
  • Up to £42ph
- Hybrid


NonStop Consulting are working with a Good Ofsted local authority in the East Midlands who are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Child Protection team.

They are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and who would be able tointegrate smoothly into their team & set standards and expectations for social workers.


This position offers the opportunity to work from home with only one day a week required in office, which helps assist with effective and efficient caseload management, giving you a greater work life balance.


This position allows you to work within a local authority that has achieved a Good Ofsted rating, meaning they provide high levels of diligence & aid to those under their care, which will ultimately increase your work satisfaction.

Some responsibilities of this role include;

  • Working with children, families & carers to help them understand their circumstances, to enable them to work together to provide the best possible outcome for those in their care.
  • Provide support & assistance to social workers with complex cases.
  • Advise social workers on cases involving court work & strive towards the desired outcomes.

Requirements:


  • A degree in Social Work & Social Work England registration
  • A drivers license
  • An up to date DBS check
  • Experience in Children's Services
  • Experience in Child protection, Child in Need & Court Work is preferable.
