Description

• Coordinate and schedule transportation activities for the organization
• Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
• Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
• Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver logs and vehicle maintenance records
• Resolve any issues or delays in transportation operations in a timely manner

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a transportation coordinator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using transportation management software and other relevant tools
