This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a permanent, clinical role at a senior level for SEL ICB (Greenwich).

The Designated Clinical Officer (SEND) is a jointly funded post between the SEL ICB and Royal Borough of Greenwich and will support a person centred approach to improve the outcomes for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disability (0-25 years).

You will be working on established workstreams with a focus on joint working in areas such as emotional wellbeing & mental health; learning disabilities; therapeutic and physical health support and EHCP & access to education.


We are looking for an individual with knowledge, understanding and experience of the main issues affecting outcomes for children, young people and families, particularly children and young people with SEND.

You will have a good understanding of the local authority and ICB's roles and responsibilities in respect to the current SEND Code of Practice and of commissioning services in a highly complex multi-agency environment
