About the role:


As Sales Operations Manager, you will lead, develop, and implement sales operational efficiencies and processes as well as support the implementation and creation of strategic business plans and distribution strategy to support business growth, goals andstability, working across several departments to meet specific challenges and goals.


You will need to collaborate with the distribution senior leadership team, wider sales teams and key stakeholders to align sales operations with the wider business agenda, implementing and managing the success of your business area.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


  • Leadership
  • You will lead, manage, and implement all sales operational support, efficiency, and processes to improve distribution performance


  • Strategy

  • You will support Guardians senior leadership teams with the design and implementation of sales strategy to deliver on Guardians sales plan and overall distribution efficiency.
  • Be the distribution lead for our change agenda, projects, and governance.
  • Develop and manage robust distribution processes for recruitment, onboarding, distribution meetings, performance management, budgeting, risk and governance, sales incentives, and events
  • Collaboration with the Sales Director, the distribution leadership team and wider senior leadership team in meeting any distribution operational requirements and strategy, collaborating with departments that will help you implement, manage, and assess thesuccess of your business area
  • Sales Operations contact for account managers, distributions senior leadership team and wider business stakeholders
  • Administration support and organisational support to the distribution leadership team, along with minutes and note taking
  • Ensure distribution Standard Operating Procedures are in place and maintained

  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Experience in a sales operation's role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Event management
  • The ability to take ownership of the design and implementation of projects, tasks, and initiatives
  • The ability to liaise and manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Ambition and desire to succeed
  • Selfmotivation and enthusiasm
Desirable

  • Experience and knowledge of the UK Intermediary distribution market
  • Educated to a degree level
  • Experience within a regulated environment
