Mobile Bodyshop Technician (HGV Trailers)

The Role:

My client is constantly investing in the latest IT technology, tooling & training.

Their well-maintained and equipped maintenance facilities and service vans, ensure you will have the right tools to best serve their customers.


Responsibilities:


  • You will be responsible for
    GRP panel repairs replacement, Trailer door fabrication, refurbishment/raise/lower modifications, Structural/chassis repair modification, Ferroplas repair, Welding using ARC/MIG/TIG, Alloy welding, Roller shutter replacement/repair/balanceand retention, General running repairs IE wings/curtain repairs, Fabrication, Carrying out running and damage repairs to various trailer types
  • Performing all welding work with the help of forming and cutting equipment, Working with fitters to assist in the fabrication or welding of multi component parts and ensuring all compliance details are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • You will be a Time served fabricator/welder with experience in MIG welding on thin gauge metal and the ability to understand welding symbols and diagrams.
  • You will also be able to perform basic and advanced metal fabrication.

Salary:


  • Up to £32,500.00 per year for Day shift Monday to Friday.
