The Role:
We are seeking a painter /decorator to join our existing team. Some previous experience would be advantageous but training on the job can be provided.
You will be painting exhibition displays/ components inline with client requirements.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Measuring the work area to calculate the time and materials required to complete the project
- Preparing painting surfaces
- Choosing the tools to complete the job
- Matching paints and colours to meet the texture and look required for the project
- Cleaning up painting tools and supplies
- Collaborating with painters on larger jobs
- Check work along the way to ensure its up to the required specifications
- Work in a clean and tidy manner
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Follow safe working practices at all times
- To be smart in appearance and a positive representative of the company at all times
Hours:
min 35 per week. changeable during peak periods
Monday to Friday working 08:00 -15:30/17:30, weekend working as required, overtime when required.
Opportunity for UK & overseas travel.
Trainee - rates negotiable dependant on skill level
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
Salary:
£15.00-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 35 per week
