is now recruiting now for a full-time permanent Goods In / Warehouse Operative for its site at Strathclyde Business Park in Bellshill, applicants
MUST have a valid counterbalance forklift licence and have a clean current driving license with access to their own transport due to the location of the site.

Andersen Caledonia Ltd. Is a global leader in industrial sterilisation and testing of products for the medical device, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Our Warehouse Operatives are very important to the smooth running of the business, you will be responsible within a team for the safe, continuous, and efficient operations of the warehouse.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative, the role is important to help ensure products are where they need to be and on time, and you will be responsible to ensure that the product is ready for the customer to collect.

To support our customers effectively you will.

You must be physically fit to be able to manually load parcels into a van (up to 30kg)
Receiving goods into the warehouse.
Offloading and loading vehicles; including heavy lifting.
Organising and prioritising the workload
Completing goods in paperwork.
Checking for damaged or missing items.
Preparing shipments for despatch.
Wrapping and labelling pallets for despatch.
Moving stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
Keeping all paperwork up to date.
Doing off site customer collections and deliveries when required.
Carrying out waste management procedures for general waste and cardboard; ensuring effective recycling.
Lifting and moving products in accordance with safe manual handling procedures.
Operating in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own safety of others.
Cleaning the warehouse and yard and keeping these areas well organised and tidy to ensure operational efficiency.
Demonstrating excellent team working skills and always collaborate effectively.
Working accurately and methodically, planning, and organising work effectively.
Assist with the smooth operation of the warehouse.
