SEN Teacher or ECT
The SEN school supports children with a range of autism levels, including severe learning difficulties. The school provides a focused and individualised curriculum to meet the unique needs of each pupil.

With a focus on developing everyday life skills, theschool aims to provide pupils with the necessary tools to lead independent and purposeful lives.

The school staff are trained to work with children with autism and understand the specific challenges they face.

The school also works closely with accreditation boards such as ASDAN and AQA to provide pupils with a well-rounded education that meets theirindividual needs.

The goal of the school is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive and reach their full potential.

This role is paying between MPS1 to MPS6.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide an excellent framework of education for pupils with autism or severe learning difficulties.
  • Empathetic and flexible approach to understanding and supporting the changing needs of pupils.
  • Fantastic communication skills to convey the aims and visions of the school to all stakeholders.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning new teaching techniques and approaches.
  • Longterm commitment to the role, which could become permanent.

Requirements:


  • QTS and demonstrable experience working with children with autism or severe learning difficulties.
  • Knowledge of working with accreditation boards such as ASDAN and AQA.
  • Empathetic, flexible and caring nature.
  • Fantastic communicator with the ability to convey the aims and visions of the school to all stakeholders.
  • Keen for further professional development.
  • Committed to a longterm role that could become permanent.
