Location/Division Specific Information:
The role is based at our Winsford UK facility where the EPM Process Analyzer range of products are manufactured.
How you will make an impact:
This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone to join our Manufacturing team in Winsford We are a small but multi-disciplined team who manufacture a varied range of scientific instruments to a very high standard expected by our customers.
The Winsford site is committed to continuous improvement and the Manufacturing Technician is encouraged to play a key role in this, in recognizing opportunities and pushing through to action.
What you will do:
- Electro-Mechanical assembly of process analyzers for use in industrial settings
- Final configuration of externally produced components to meet customer specification
- Manufacture of cable assemblies and electrical installation of wiring looms
- Build of vacuum subassemblies with excellent attention to detail and, depending on requirements, to cleanroom standards
- Undertaking fault diagnosis with a view to 'cure once' promote continuous improvement by sharing observations and knowledge with others, including the design team and external contractors.
- Align with Health and Safety and 5S / Lean principles within the manufacturing department
- Ensure a continued awareness of the Manufacturing assembly schedule and work in an efficient and effective manner in order to meet the business commitments
- Undertake crosstraining as well as providing training to others in the department, to ensure continued cover of all skills and roles within the small team and have a flexible work attitude to cover all other manufacturing duties as and when required.
Keys to Success:
Education:
ONC /HNC or HND or equivalent in an electrical or Mechanical discipline.
Experience:
Experience in a similar position of electro mechanical manufacturing environment position preferred. This role would suit a time served trades person in electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Previous experience of working in an electromechanical environment. The ability to work as part of a team and at times work with minimum supervision.
- Flexible attitude to work as there may be a need to undertake overtime.
