Spencer Clarke Group are looking for an experienced SEN Case Officer to take up an interim contract for a Local Authority based in the Midlands.


As an SEN Case Officer, you will co-ordinate Education, health and care assessments and plans (EHCP) for a caseload of children and young people (CYP) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), leading to a high-quality outcome focused EHC Planand working in collaboration with families and professionals through the process.

**Contract Details

Pay Scale - Starting from £260 - £280 per day.


Location - Fully remote working for the duration of the assignment.

Contract Length - initial 3-6 month contract with a view to being extended.


Key Accountabilities include:


  • Support effective multi agency working to support the development of comprehensive education, health and care plan, annual reviews and positive multiagency working relationships.
  • Draft high quality education, health and care plans which are clear, accessible and outcome focused inline with legal and statutory requirements described in the Children and Family's act and SEND code of practice.
  • Manage and maintain a designated caseload of children and young people with Special Educational needs ensuring the statutory obligations are met. This will include coordination of EHC Needs assessment, monitoring the agreed Education, health and care plansand ensuring that a review is help at least annually, attending where possible.
