CK Group are recruiting for a Packaging Scientist to join a company in the healthcare industry at their site based in Ware initially on a contract basis for 12 months.


Hourly rate:

Up to £21.19 paye / £27.45 Umbrella

Our client is a leader in respiratory medicines for over 45 years and has been developing and producing inhalers to deliver their respiratory medicines at the site in Ware since 1969.


Location:

Ware.

The site offers plenty of parking and fully functioning canteen for all staff, with attractive outdoorseating in the summer months.

Packaging Scientist Role:


  • Recommend primary packaging components and complete primary packaging specifications and testing
  • Support/complete stability packaging campaigns
  • Support review of post launch primary packaging changes or stability issues, as needed or requested.
  • Assessment of new materials, components, and technologies for both technical performance and cost effectiveness

Your Background:


  • Degree or similar in Packaging Engineering/Packaging Science, Chemistry, Life Science, or equivalent industry experience, with preferably 13 years' experience in parenteral package development, primarily in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Understanding of design control requirements associated with Medical Devices and Combination Products (Drug / Device combinations)
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging and technology, regulatory requirements, and the R&D, NPI, and technology transfer processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish delivery of projects, meet project milestones, and support multiple projects.
