About the job:
Carmela Coady Childcare is looking for a team player to join our nursery As room leader you will be responsible for leading, supporting, supervising and inspiring your team to ensure that children are receiving the highest level of care and education. You will work as part of a whole team to plan, deliver and implement impactful learning in your room. You will create and maintain an enabling environment that will promote curiosity, supporting the curriculum and the individual needs of the children in your care.
You will need to work well with the wider management team within the setting and be responsible for following the setting's policies and procedures, ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care. You will ensure all record keeping is kept up to date, including children's development records, daily records, risk assessments and accident sheets.
You will develop positive relationships with your key children and their families, observing, assessing and recording children's learning and development progress and collaborating in a professional manner to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Requirements:
Level 3 minimum, proof of leadership skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursery environment.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
- Ability to follow all company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Ongoing commitment to CPD.
