Career Makers Recruitment is currently looking for "Stock Controller" for one of our clients based in Haydock, WA11 area.Stock Controller Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems.
- Coordinating stock control operations with warehouse staff, as well as the sales and finance departments.
- Analyzing supply chain data to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock.
- Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running outofstock (OOS).
- Ensuring regulation of instock level complies with inventory parameters, so minimum stocks are reordered in a timely manner.
- Placing and receiving orders to replenish stocks as needed.
- Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays.
- Overseeing stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing, and labelling within allocated spaces.
- Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage to where it is needed.
- Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels.
- Oversee the standard of merchandising to ensure appropriate presentation of stock (easy to count and located into pick area) liaise with Warehouse team on presentation and preparation to ensure accurate counting.
- Collaborate with production team to ensure manufactured products are of consistent quality.
- Liaise with the maintenance of the Warehouse and ensure proper arrangement of stock, in discussion with the Warehouse team and management.
- Performing regular inventory audits and keeping stock purchasing within budget.
- Carry out stock management operations in line with set product/retail policies and procedures.
- Utilise Sage software program in maintaining record of store execution performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing customers orders for their products.
- Booking in/out stock
- Supporting production counts
- Supporting with and monitoring quarantined stock
- Preparing for customer stock audits
- Ensuring regular audits of the warehouse in line with defined customer standards
- Carrying out and verifying daily stock checks
- Ensuring that Cycle Counts are actioned and discrepancies investigated.
- Actioning Status Changes in a timely manner
- Completing stockrelated records as required
- COGI and IDOC management
- Managing Oracle updates
- Liaising with warehouse personnel with regards to stock movements and handling
Stock Controller Requirements:
A minimum of two years' experience as a stock controller in a similar industry.
Proficiency in inventory management software.
In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
Extensive experience in supply chain data analysis.
Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
Superb negotiation, collaboration, and communication abilities.
Shift pattern :
Monday to Friday Shift 06am-15pm / 09am-6pm (rotating)
Pay rate: 10.57 £ / h
