Naturally Dogs & Friends is looking for a customer focused, friendly & motivated retail Store Supervisor who has a genuine enthusiasm for people & pets that can can offer product knowledge & advice in pet nutrition & wellness whilst delivering an excellent level of customer service.

• Managing a team of 2-3 people max.
• Greeting & serving customers as they enter the store.
• Delivering exceptional customer service & going 'the extra mile' for every customer.
• Building rapport with customers & interacting with pets.
• Accurately describe product features & benefits to customers.
• Determining customers' needs & requirements to make relevant suggestions.
• Responsible for the sales performance of the store, identifying any improvements needed & implementing them.
• Handling complaints or forwarding serious issues to the manager.
• Completing customer transactions.
• Handling calls & dealing with general inquiries.
• Handling & scheduling grooming appointments.
• Maintaining accurate inventory by receiving & unpacking deliveries, underaking stocktakes & investigating any stock losses.
• Maintaining a tidy & organised stockroom.
• Maintaining high visual merchandising standards (shopfloor & window) whilst ensuring products are fully stocked, well presented & with a good shelf life.
• Keeping up to date with product information & spa treatments.
• Complete & maintain daily cleaning schedule.
• Complete & display relevant specialist nutritional feeding advisor certifications.
• Keyholding responsibilities opening & closing of the store inc. cashing up.
• Follow all companies policies & procedures.
• You may be asked to carry out additional tasks within your capability, in order to meet the needs of the business.

• A genuine all round pet lover with knowledge of animals is desirable.
• Minimum 2 years proven retail sales & management experience in a customer facing environment.
• A clear understanding of sales principles & customer service practices.
• A passion for customer service with a desire to build rapport & strong relationships with our customers & their pets.
• The right attitude & willingness to learn.
• Friendly, helpful, confident & engaging personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Basic computer, operational & administration skills.

• Working Schedule 5 days
• Tues to Sat.
• Flexibility to work at the Wanstead store if needed.
• Working Hours 9am 5:30pm (30min lunch break paid break taken in store).
• Total Hours 42.5hrs.
