Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and technologies to promote active learning and student engagement
  • Monitor and assess student learning and progress, and provide regular feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and wellbeing
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities to stay uptodate on teaching practices and curriculum developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Teaching certification in Science
  • QTS
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
  • Indepth knowledge of the Science curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching and learning
