We are looking to recruit a Medicines Counter Assistant to work
at our branch in East Wittering.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic person to join our team. Someone who is a team player with strong interpersonal skills who is organised and keen to support their colleagues in delivering the highest levels of customer service and patient care.
The role will involve:
- Learning how to tailor conversations with every customer to ensure they leave the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs, as well as a smile on their face
- Creating relationships with valued customers and working at the counter giving basic advice to customers and taking money for sales or prescriptions
- Stock replenishment and maintaining a professional appearance of the pharmacy
- Handling prescriptions and knowing the requirements (payments, exemptions etc)
- Answering phone calls and handling customer inquiries
- Working accurately and maximising sales experience for the customer
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Be self motivated, wellorganised, a good listener and discreet
- Have good organisational and time management skills
- Follow instructions well and have numeracy skills to handle cash and stock
- Be computer literate and have high levels of literacy and numeracy
- A willingness to learn and work in a team
- Work accurately with great attention to detail in a busy environment
Salary:
£9.00-£11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
